Difference was simply Jr QB vs Fr QB...


With the #1 Defense and a good running game, any staff in the world is going to start out playing conservative with a Fr QB on a national championship stage.

It they could have time traveled & got the 2019, 20-yr old Jalen Hurts as a Jr, Bama wins. The same way, that Clemson roster with a Fr Watson doesn't even make the playoffs.

There's a reason only one Fr QB has ever won a Title. Unbelievable mismatch @ QB last night & Bama still almost pulled it off.
